WOULD LIKE TO SHARE; ROOM, HOUSE, IN PORT ANGELES, THAT HELPS ALL (Port Angeles)

Wanted a room in a house with all utilities included. I am looking for a new mailing address, a home. My previous landlord past away, and the property is in estate.

My name is Paul Budnek, and I am single, 53 year old man. You can call or text me at show contact info .
I have guaranteed monthly rent, and would like the utilities and amenities to be included. I do not smoke indoors, but I do smoke tobacco out doors.

I do not drink and have not drank for 29 years, I am not a 420 user and do not do any drugs. I have no criminal history, and have passed a background check making me eligible for the rental assistance.

I have received a monthly amount from a homeless prevention grant; that guarantees rent each month for a room. The application process and the partnering with the landlord goes through Serenity House; that pays the rent every month.

Help Us Keep Our Community Sheltered
In March of 2020, Serenity House transitioned our night-by-night shelter to 24x7 services in response to requests for assistance from the City and County. To ensure the safety of clients and staff alike, we increased the number of staff at shelter from 8 to 18 and instated a nightly security patrol for the neighborhood. We increased meal service to three times per day from once daily to ensure everyone has adequate access to fresh, nutritious meals. We also embarked on a project to increase the capacity of our shelter from 108 to 172 to prevent people who are currently staying at the temporary Social Distancing Center from exiting to homelessness once that shelter is returned to the Port.

Since our transition to 24x7 service, we have seen drastic improvements to our community and the quality of life of the people we serve. Since instating the security patrol, we have achieved a 50% reduction in police calls to the neighborhood. Our clients have consistently scheduled access to food, medical treatment, behavioral health services, and wraparound case management for housing and employment. Clients no longer spend their days searching for food and waiting downtown for the shelter to reopen each night, which has greatly increased their stability.

Generous grants from the State and County cover 48% of our operating costs at shelter, and our Thrift Store covers an additional 23%. In order to continue providing 24x7 services, we are looking for an additional $25,000 per month to cover our shortfall.

On average, it costs us $51 per client per night to operate the shelter. Donate today to help us keep our neighbors sheltered!

I have no gender preference about whom I live with, the last landlord was a woman and I lived with her in her house. It was a very amicable relationship. Looking for a new permanent residence, where I can change my mailing address and rebuild my life since having to have to move, from where I resided!

I am very clean, swim twice a week, am active in many social and religious events every week. Self supporting and make arrangements for any and all of my personal needs. Would like the room, studio, mother in law; furnished, as the furniture went with the estate.

I have recently taken the COVID-19 TEST, and do not have the pandemic. I would want to test before renting to a roommate or landlord in the same residence the both of us, so that we can be sure that we do not have the pandemic. There are free tests available at the local library. The place where I have been staying both of us have been tested negative for the Covid-19.

I look forward to speaking to you; this is not temporary housing, I am wanting a new place to live! Paul C. Budnek

FOR THOSE WANTING TO DO THE GREATER GOOD, YOU SHOULD RENT TO ME, I AM WANTING TO INTRODUCE THE LANDLORD TO THE SERENTIY HOUSE'S HOMELESS PREVENTION STATE AND FEDERAL FUNDING!
