Fast Guard Service is seeking a reliable, professional Armed Security Officer for a unique long-term camp security assignment in Washington and Oregon.
This is an excellent opportunity for guards who enjoy the outdoors, camping, and working independently while providing a visible security presence.
š ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Start: June 22, 2026 ā 3:00 PM
End: July 9, 2026 ā 9:00 AM
Coverage: 24/7 Continuous Security Coverage
š° Pay Rate: $30/Hour PLUS Per Diem

š SPECIAL OVERNIGHT CAMPING DETAIL
June 29 ā June 30, 2026
Security personnel will travel approximately 4 hours to:
Detroit Lake State Recreation Area
44000 N Santiam Hwy.
Detroit, OR 97342
Guards will provide overnight security for camp attendees from approximately 5:00 PM on June 29 through 9:00 AM on June 30.
Following the overnight detail, guards will return to the Ocean Park Camp location and resume regular duties.
š® DUTIES INCLUDE
ā Maintaining a visible security presence
ā Conducting routine patrols throughout the property
ā Deterring disorderly conduct and unauthorized activity
ā Monitoring campgrounds and surrounding areas
ā Remaining alert for wildlife activity and safety concerns
ā Watching for signs of wildfire or environmental hazards
ā Assisting in maintaining a safe environment for camp attendees ages 15ā18
ā Reporting incidents and documenting observations
š§° REQUIREMENTS
ā Armed Security License/Certification (as required by state law)
ā Professional security experience preferred
ā Comfortable working outdoors and camping overnight
ā Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
ā Dependable cell phone communication
ā Ability to work extended shifts and remote locations
ā Strong observation and reporting skills
ā Professional appearance and attitude
