The farm is a mixed orchard and livestock pasture surrounded by woods with large market vegetable gardens, greenhouses, and a pond. The animals are free-range, so normal farm stuff like ducks quacking, dogs barking and manure are routine parts of life.
It's an organic regenerative farm. You need to be willing to abide by our limitations on toxic chemicals, recycling, waste reduction, soil and water quality protection, etc and join us in being good land stewards.
All leases include full use of all amenities and activities including the main house kitchen, bath, laundry and common areas. Single occupancy. Room shares, partners, spouses and children are additional $40 pp rent. See utility notes. Subject to approval due to septic capacity.
Includes parking for 1 car. $100/month each additional car. Free bike parking inside the bike shed. Pets with cleaning fee and permission from existing tenants. No illegal or trafficked animals. Utilities extra, shared pro-rata by all long term rental tenants of any age.
For the health of everyone, all tenants will be expected to choose a lifestyle avoiding tobacco products.
Our interview process for this shared family home is a short conversation with the property owners to screen for timing, financial responsibility and homeshare amenable mindset, then an interview with the existing tenants to look for good chemistry and a mutual interest in living together, followed by a formal WLA lease application and credit check with a credit reporting fee, and ending with a rental agreement signing and move in.
There's tons of pictures on zillow, google maps, harvest host, hipcamp and Airbnb taken by us and our friends over years to give you a sense of life on the farm.
