4Runner Brake line repair turned into more than I want to screw with.
rear brake lines rusted out. Removed Gas tank to get access and never got back to it.
The good stuff
7800 dollar top end rebuild by West hills Toyota after a mouse ate the line to the NOX sensor Insurance paid. every nut and bolt of the trip in and out was replace New Exhaust headers and cat converters. Exhaust was replaced from the cross over back w/ 06 Mustang muffler replaced the OEM muffler and exhaust $200 sounds great looks better than stock.
Found the brake failure and Toyota wanted 3800 bucks (screw that) to replace the brake line. I bought the OEM brake lines and removed the gas tank. mounting bolts and nuts need to be replaced no biggie. I'm retiring and am not going to get back to it. The sr5 has New Good year Wrangler tires with about 250 miles on them, $600 bucks. Bring $3000 cash and a trailer and take it away. Mileage is 176529.
