I bought this on ebay from Seattle Goodwill eight years ago. I was playing a lot of mandolin at the time and thought I'd give this a try. I know nothing about violins. My research at the time indicated that all Eastman violins with boxwood pegs and chin rest were over a thousand dollars. Please do your own research as my lack of knowledge may have led me to the wrong conclusion. Goodwill neglected to say that this was not a full size violin. I could not use a 3/4 size but did not return it because it is a charity.
There are many dents and a few chips.
The 24 1/4" bow I guess goes with the 3/4 violin.
The 26 1/2" bow I found selling for $225 but no longer remember who made it.
Anyway, time to move this along. Basically, buy the longer bow and get everything else for free.
