Essential Duties:
• Weighs incoming and outgoing shipments for the sawmill
• Enters data into handheld computer system
• Scan and review logs for measurements
• Responsible for placing identifying information on the material upon arrival at the plant site
• Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify
information against Scaler Information Sheets and/or S29(US Forest Service)
• Communicate with supervisor or customers and foresters on log quality and scaling issues
• Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies
Work Location:
• Shelton, WA
• Outside in all weather including extreme hot/cold conditions
Must be willing and able to travel to sites in Western Washington and Oregon.
