Vintage Pyrex Glass 1950s Oval Roaster # 088, 3 Quart, Great Condition
I recall this particulaar roaster first appeared on the market about 1950/early 1950s. No chips or cracks, crystal clear, minor use scratches. I occassionally find this roaster/halves looking locally, not easy to find but not rare. The roaster halves are identical and measures 15 1/4" long handle to handle, 9 3/4" widest middle diameter. The marketing idea of this roaster is/was to have 2 open baker/roasters or 1 covered roaster. See the interesting last pics of a Corning original 1959 wholesale catalog, notice this "oval roaster" shown and also the above mentioned #687 round roaster (as an "open baker").
I am in the PA city limits; I have clean packing paper and boxes here you can use.
