condition: excellent
I HAD TWO OF THIS SET AVAILABLE AT $40 PER SET, TOOK ME A FEW YEARS TO PUT BOTH SETS TOGETHER, BUT READ THE BELOW INFO AS OF 8/9/25-

The 2 sets are gone, broken, because the automatic garage door vibration opening/closing slowly moved the 2 stacked sets toward the shelf edge and finally fell to the cement floor, breaking all 8 plates, not a good day. But I am keeping this posting going for both sets for reference only on what is possible. At the PA Goodwill I recently saw on the shelves Pyrex pie plates with same exact 1960s style maker's mark- a 208 pie plate and a pair of 210 pie plates; don't know if still there as of 8/9/25. Here is the description of the sets as they were-

RARE COMPLETE SET ALL SAME 1960s MAKER'S MARK Excellent Condition Pyrex Glass Pie Plates- 208, 209, 210, 211

All 4 plates are very clean, no chips or cracks, crystal clear, little to no scratches from use, see pic/s. It took me 3 or more years of always regularly looking locally to put this set together, with all plates in this good of condition and all plates having the same exact type/style maker's mark used by Corning in the 1960s- see close-up of this mark. You can pay an average of $5 each for any Pyrex pie plates at Goodwill, but you will have to wash them and it will take you years to put together a set like this with all plates having the same exact maker's mark and in this good of condition.

(In a separate posting I have available an excellent condition very clean 211 pie plate which is the largest and hardest size to find; same 1960s maker's mark as was on the plates in above sets.)

I am in the Port Angeles city limits if you want to stop by; I currently have many other vintage Pyrex items available (if interested see my posting for buying all my vintage Pyrex as one LOT unless sold by the time you see this).

PYREX MADE BY CORNING GENERAL INFO/HISTORY-

OLDER IS BETTER- Corning stopped all production of Pyrex baking glass items in the early 1980s. I and many others think the vintage CORNING MADE Pyrex pie plates and other clear/colorless baking dishes are superior to any brand new Pyrex pie plates and baking items NOT MADE BY CORNING, because apparently brand new non-Corning made Pyrex pie plates/other items are breaking too often in oven heat. It's the same story- things were made with better quality in the old days.

VINTAGE CORNING MANUFACTURED PYREX PIE PLATES AVAILABILITY IN GENERAL- The Corning manufactured vintage Pyrex plain rim pie plates are common in the 209 size, harder to find in the 208 and 210 size, and even harder to find in the 211 largest size. The 206 plain rim pie plate is very scarce, the ruffle rim 206 pie plate is scarce, and the 205 plain rim pie plate is rare. An official 7" 207 plain rim pie plate was made only for about 1 or 2 years in the 1920s, so it is very, very rare (I had one years ago and sold it to the Corning Museum Of Glass). In my personal collection I have a rare 1920s 211 pie plate in excellent condition which I will never use, it's a display item only.

Finally let me mention just FYI that you should never wash vintage Pyrex items in the dishwasher, instead always wash by hand which is much gentler on the glass. Dishwashers can fairly quickly fog up clear glassware with mineral stain because the water is SO hot for SO long it opens up the glass molecules enough to let minerals inside the glass, thus causing the whitish mineral stain.
