It's never too late to start a garden! Some of the best produce our area has to offer (carrots, rutabagas, kale, collards, beets) are all better once there is a little chill in the air, even frost - the plants put out more sugar to keep from freezing! Beyond that, add beauty and function to your outdoor spaces with these hand-crafted locally-made planter boxes. These boxes are assembled from natural untreated cedar fence board with resins that resist decay. Their light yet sturdy nature, put together simply with no bells or whistles, with dipped or galvanized screws rather than flimsy pins, makes them easy to carry into place or to pick up and move when if you ever need to relocate your garden. They are built as panels so they can be dismantled and moved in a small vehicle, then reassembled with Philips head screws. They lack a bottom but that's because they're designed to sit directly on the grass - adding the dirt kills any plants beneath, leaving root channels open for the stuff you plant. (If you want me to add a bottom, I can, though that will be extra I can calculate based on the size.)
The smallest box (1ft by 3ft by 14in) is $50 and the largest (4ft by 8ft by 14in) is $160.
1x3 - $50 | 1x4 - $60 | 2x4 - $70 | 4x4 - $90 | 2x6 - $100 | 2x8 - $120 | 4x8 - $160
Pyramid - $200 - Other dimensions, ask for a quote. Keep in mind that
These measurements/prices are for boxes 14in tall (4 1x4 fence boards tall). To double or half the height, double or half the price.
As I don't have a delivery option available, please make plans to pick up your boxes either intact or in "kit form" - boxes are easily dismantled and reassembled into panels with a standard philip's head screwdriver or driver-tipped drill.
