Wheeled floor dolly. 42” X 40”. Very sturdy. I built this 50 years ago so I could wheel around a very obscure engine I removed from an old truck and was going to use at a later date. That engine sat on this dolly for 30 years till I found someone foolish enough to take the engine. Stupidly, I let him have that engine and forgot to include the dolly. For the next 20 years it served numerous functions but mostly I just moved it all around the shop to keep from tripping over it thinking why do I keep this very well constructed dolly? I should repurpose the heavy duty (NOT Chinese) utility wheels into something I could get more use of. Sadly after a decade or so nothing came to mind. Now well into a month of cleaning out my barn I’ve made numerous trips to Goodwill and they told me they would be glad to take shoes, clothes, cash etc. however they had no market for a rather shabby looking but well constructed example of home-crafted “Americana” so nope they declined my well intended donation. If $10 is too much
we could gladly negotiate, but I’m stopping at free because I know what it’s worth! (Standard Craigslist warning that I won’t be taken advantage of.
Disclaimer. Wheels only steer on one end. So if it’s really heavy plan accordingly. Also I said this was 50 years old. Not really. I repurposed the wheels from something else and the lumber came from a doghouse I tore apart. Heck I couldn’t afford new materials and drink beer. Now I didn’t leave a dog unhoused. Just couldn’t afford a dog and didn’t need a dog house.
