ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Separate dirty dishes, glass, and flatware delivered on bus trays and/or bus tubs.
Operate dishwashing equipment, proper use of chemicals and safety procedures.
Use proper measurements of detergent and sanitizer in the dish machine.
Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.
Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
Clean garbage cans with water or steam.
Clean and organize workstation to ensure that proper sanitation standards are maintained.
Stock supplies such as food and utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and salad bars.
Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly fashion.
May assist with Freight duties described above; requires flexible schedule based on vendor delivery schedules.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Must follow all safety and sanitation rules and regulations.
Follow all general and department policies and procedures.
No experience necessary.
Knowledge of basic dish machine operations preferred.
Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests and other team members.
Able to learn basic tasks and follow instructions.
Strong organization, prioritization and multiple-tasking skills.
Strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
Highly adaptable with the ability to adjust to change in a positive manner.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS
Must be available to work any shift (to include all hours, weekends, and/or holidays as job duties require).
Must be able to work in a “smoker friendly” environment.
Must be able to lift, push and carry up to 75 lbs. unassisted; ability to maneuver heavy carts.
Physical ability to access all areas of the property applicable to your position.
Must be able to withstand prolonged standing, walking, bending, crawling, climbing, squatting, stooping, kneeling and twisting without restriction.
Requires eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity; ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
Must have the ability to reach at or below/above shoulder level on a continuous basis.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment and maintain physical stamina, proper mental attitude while dealing effectively with customers, management, team members, and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines
