I'm selling my favorite vehicle I have ever owned - extended cab, long box, 4 wheel drive, Chevy Silverado Duramax 2500HD.

I've had it for 14 years and I put 71,000 of the 317,000 miles on it myself. It has a LLY Duramax engine and an Allison transmission. It is a work horse. The pictures of it pulling that tractor up Mount Angeles road were taken 8/31/2025. That tractor and trailer are about 10,000 pounds of it's 12,000 pound pulling capacity and it accelerates going up Mount Angeles.

It runs great but, IT HAS A BLOWN HEAD GASKET. I don't have the facilities, time or expertise to fix it myself so I'm selling it at this ridiculously low price.

The engine got replaced when the truck had 240,000 miles on it, with an engine that had 160,000 miles on it, so the engine is about 80,000 miles younger than the rest of the truck.

There's quite a bit of chipped paint on it, and the exterior of the left rear of the bed has been smashed in a bit - I did that myself. I tried to show the damage in a couple of pictures. There are other minor dents in various places around on it - I have worked the hell out of it.

There is some body rust that has eaten through right below the left rear door.

It has an extended cab, so you can fit 6 passengers, but a few of them are going to be cramped.

The windshield is cracked and the A/C doesn't work, but the interior is in remarkably good condition for a truck this old that has been worked so hard.

The front brakes, calipers, rotors, and pads are like new. The tires are in excellent condition - have most of the tread still on them.

The extra stuff you see coming over the cab is the most redneck system for keeping water in it you have ever seen. I built it when the head gasket got bad...I just needed to pull that tractor a few more times.

It's got a cassette tape and CD player. The tape player works, but the CD player mostly doesn't. The CD player has Dark Passion Play by Nightwish stuck in it. I'm including that with the truck. When it's really cold, the CD player will play a few tracks, so you'll get to listen to some really awesome music.

The best way to contact me is clint.banzet at the email service that Google provides. You can text me at show contact info . That number doesn't ring a phone, so you can only text it.
