One of a Kind Vintage Handmade Indonesian Batik Sarong 1990s - $130 (Port Townsend)

I have owned this beautiful sarong since the 1990s. It was purchased from a friend who had a small business selling handmade batik, mainly, dresses and sarongs. The main fabrics used were silk, rayon, and some cotton. He would travel to Indonesia to have items made for him and bring them back. Each article of clothing was a work of art to our friend.
This Batik Sarong is in excellent vintage condition. I only used this sarong a few times. All the fringe is intact and there are no tears, holes, or worn spots in the fabric. There are spots on the sarong where the dye didn’t take or the dye is not uniform. It has always been like this and can be seen in the photos. These little “flaws” give the design character. The sarong is handmade so it is not perfect. It is a work of art. I am fairly sure the material is rayon but the rayon is of substantial weight; in other words the fabric is not thin.
Not counting the fringe this Sarong is 67 inches long by 46 inches wide.
