2008 Valley Aquanaut LV Sea Kayak. Has three years of total use (previous seven years it was a show model in a kayak shop and never on the water). It's an LV (low volume), but has ample space for touring. I'm 5'11, 175lbs and fit just fine. 21" beam, 17' long, 54 lbs.
- Fiberglass hull and deck
- All new skeg system (cables, pulley, skeg, et al)
- Brunton deck-mounted compass (1yr old)
- foam seat custom made by Joe at Redfish Kayaks (1yr old)
All hatch lids seal are very tight with no leakage. Deck and hull are in fine condition (with a few, minor scrape lines along the hull). Deck lines and screws are all in place and solid.
Personally, I found this a fast, agile, solid and fun boat. It was my Seventy48 race boat and it proved it's worth. I live next to the water, so if you're seriously interested you can test it out here.
